It is also known for enshrining the Black Nazarene, a dark statue of Jesus Christ, which is said to have miraculous powers. This was how it looked like before the 1863 earthquake which destroyed the left bell tower. Intendencia Ruins Intramuros, Manila (30" x 20" , Acrylic on Canvas) This historical structure is the ruins of the Intendencia/Aduana Building located in Intramuros, Manila, Philippines. In 1823 to 29, during the Spanish colonization period, the structure was used as the headquarters for the customs office. It's Neo-classical style and design was penned by Spanish engineer Tomas Cortes. During the American colonial period (1898-1940), this building was used as the House of the Senate. It then became the post-war Central Bank. Intramuros, a walled city within the modern city of Manila, is where historical landmarks such as the Fort Santiago and the 410 year old San Agustin Church, a UNESCO Heritage site, can be found.

The church has a Spanish Colonial Architectural style. Work on this Unesco World Heritage site began in 1768 and was completed in 1782.	San Sebastian Church (24" x 36", Acrylic on canvas) The San Sebastian Church, is a Roman Catholic Minor Basilica in Manila. it was completed in 1891. It is the only all-steel church in Asia, and claimed as the only prefabricated steel church in the world. It is believed that Gustav Eiffel was invloved in the design of the basilica. This was confirmed by prominent architect I.M. Pei who inspected the structure in the 1970s. He reportedly pronounced that the metal fixtures and overall structure were indeed by Eiffel. Cafe Des 2 Moulins (24" x 30", Acrylic on canvas) Early 2013, I had the chance to go to Paris. I got a tip from my cousin that the cafe in the movie "Amelie" really exists. "Amelie" is one of my favorite films so I was determined to find this cafe. With the help of a friend in Paris, I found the cafe! It's in Montmartre, very near the Moulin Rouge!	Diner On West 14th Street (24" x 30", Acrylic on canvas) This is "The Diner Restaurant" on West 14th Street in New Yor City.	Le Studio Des Ursulines (24" x 30", Acrylic on Canvas) The Studio des Ursulines is one of the oldest cinemas in Paris. It's founder's vision was to offer a venue for art and experimetal cinema. This theater opened in January 21, 1926 showing films by Adre Breton, Man Ray, Fernand Leger, Rene Clair and Robert Desnos.

It is located in the municipality of Paoay, Ilocos Norte, in the Philippines. This baroque style church was completed in 1710 and is now designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.	Taal Basilica (22" x 28", Acrylic on canvas) The Basilica de San Martin de Tours, which was consecrated in 1865, is located in the town of Taal, Batangas, in the Philippines. It is considered to be the largest Catholic church in the Philippines and in Asia. This Baroque style basilica stands 315 ft long and 148 ft wide.
Baclayon Church (24" x 18", Acrylic on canvas) A commissioned painting of the Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception in Baclayon, Bohol, Philippines. It is one of the oldest churches in the country. On October 15, 2013, a powerful earthquake hit the town of Bohol destroying several historical structures. The Baclayon church's bell tower and facade were severely damaged. Hopefully, this National Historic Treasure will be restored.
